Ultra-thin wall bearing for robot

Ultra-thin wall bearings for robots mainly include thin-walled four-point contact ball bearings and thin-walled crossed roller bearings. These bearings have the characteristics of strong joint load bearing capacity, high precision, small friction torque, light weight, and smooth operation.

Thin-walled four-point contact ball bearings:

The thin-walled four-point contact ball bearing is mainly composed of an inner ring, an outer ring, a cage and a steel ball. Its structural forms include two kinds with and without a sealing ring. The outer diameter of this bearing is small in comparison with the inner diameter. The diameter of the rolling element is small but the number is large. Compared with the standard bearing of the same inner diameter, its weight is about 5% of the standard bearing, and the cross-sectional area is about 20% of the standard bearing. This bearing can withstand radial load, two-way thrust load and overturning moment, and is suitable for installation in the wrist, elbow and other joint parts of industrial robots.

Thin-walled crossed roller bearings:

Thin-walled crossed roller bearings are usually used in parts that require light weight and compact design, such as the rotating parts of robots and manipulators. Its structural forms include the outer ring dividing the inner ring into one and the inner and outer ring dividing type. The outer ring dividing type bearings make the wall thickness of the outer ring and the inner ring very thin, which is suitable for places where high rotation accuracy of the inner ring is required; the inner and outer ring dividing type is suitable for places where high rotation accuracy of the outer ring is required.

Application scenarios:

Thin-walled bearings are widely used in industrial robots such as the waist, elbows, wrists, etc., because these parts require high-precision, lightweight and compact bearings to ensure the flexibility and stability of the robot. In addition, thin-walled bearings are also suitable for model aircraft, remote control cars, machine tools, motors, water pumps and other occasions that require miniaturization and lightweight design.

Overall, robot-specific ultra-thin wall bearings play an important role in industrial robots and other fields that require high-precision, lightweight, and compact designs due to their unique structure and superior performance.
